A native of Charleston, South Carolina, Dr. James
Andrews graduated from
the
Medical University of South Carolina School of Dental Medicine in 1974. He accepted a teaching position with the University's Department of Oral Medicine until entering the United States Army Dental Corps as a Dental Officer. After serving at Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, Dr. Andrews established a private dental practice in Summerville in 1978.
Highly-regarded for his skills in Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry, Dr. Andrews has completed numerous, advanced courses to provide patients with exceptional esthetics and oral well-being. He is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association, and is devoted to the community through ongoing civic involvement.

Chris - Financial Coordinator For over 20 years, Chris has worked in the dental field, primarily handling insurance and helping patients with financial options. A “people person”, Chris loves helping patients to budget for the smile they desire. She also enjoys being a grandmother to 5, with another on the way!
B.J. - Receptionist The pleasant voice on the telephone belongs to B.J., who has worked in the dental field for over 16 years. She welcomes you upon arrival and helps with checking in and out. When not in the office, B.J. enjoys gourmet cooking and entertaining.
Jeannine - For over 10 years, Jeannine has been a part of Dr. Andrews' team. She received her hygiene degree as well as anesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation certificate in 1994. Jeannine has completed training to stay current with the latest developments in oral health. She enjoys helping patients have a thorough understanding of proactive steps for a confident smile.
Rachel - Registered Dental Hygienist This Spartanburg native received her degree and anesthesia certification from Trident Technical College. She loves meeting new people and helping them to maintain a healthy smile.
Lisa - Certified Dental Assistant Lisa completed her training at Trident Technical College in 1991 and anesthesia assistant training in 1997. She coordinates instrument sterilization, treatment room set up and enjoys making patients comfortable. When at home, Lisa stays busy with two young sons.
Heidi - Dental Assistant/Registered Dental Hygienist Patients of Dr. Andrews may also meet Heidi as she ensures all patient needs are met during treatment. She enjoys helping patients and the advanced dental technology the practice features. She serves her church as Director of Children’s Ministry and enjoys spending time with her son.
